Biohazard Transport is a fully owned subsidiary of Dental and Medical Equipment Ltd, set up in 1993 in association with the then Medical Waste (NZ) Ltd.
The purpose of the business is to aid doctors, dentists and veterinarians in the safe disposal of clinical waste as described in AS/NZS 4304:2002 Management of Healthcare Waste.
Biohazard waste is any waste with the potential to cause harm to animal or human life, namely waste generated from hospitals, doctors and dentist's surgeries, veterinary practices and nursing homes.
Our regulatory control is based on regional and city council policies and the Standards AS/NZS 4304 :2002 Management of Healthcare Waste.
